Work has begun on Phase 1 of the new kitchen and dining room. The contractors are currently laying the foundations for the extension to the new kitchen which will include a large cloakroom, toilets and an outside bathroom. This aspect of the build aims to be completed by July 2017 at which point the current kitchen facility will be completely re-developed and integrated into the new facility. The new kitchen will be ready for full use by September 2017.
The second phase, the Dining Room, should then begin in September, with the current facility being knocked down and the new dining room being constructed with completion planned for February 2018. The new Dining Room will be vastly larger than our current one and will accommodate our children more comfortably with several patio doors and a roof lantern to enable a high degree of natural light.
