Form III Trip to the Lookout Discovery Centre

Posted: 17th March 2022

Form III had a fantastic day out on our science trip to the Lookout Discovery Centre in Bracknell, made even more special as it was Science Week! The children spent most of the day in small groups so that they could explore the 90 different hands on exhibits spread across 4 zones (Forces and Movement, Light and Colour, Body and Perception and lastly Woodland and Water) over the course of the day. In each zone, the children were tasked with exploring these exhibits before choosing one to write about in their booklet.

We also had a wonderful time in our Light and Sound show where the children learned about the different colours that make up white light, how light travels, what sound waves look like and how sound can travel through vibrations.  We had so much fun and would highly recommend the Lookout Discovery Centre to families with children of all ages from 3 years.
