Form III Sayers Croft Residential Trip

Posted: 12th June 2017

Form III kicked off this half term with their annual trip to Sayers Croft this week. Not wanting to let the weather dampen their spirits, they threw themselves into their activities ranging from pond dipping, raft building and ropes to caves exploring, orienteering and shelter building. As this was the first night away from home for many of them, the children were very brave and relished the opportunity to share bunk beds with their peers. A particular highlight for the children was when they were allowed to wear their pyjamas, cuddle their fluffy toys and drink hot chocolate whilst watching some of Disney’s finest!

On the final day, we finished off our stay with a blindfold trail and maze to further develop our team building skills before having a packed lunch and our very own Rewards Assembly. A huge well done to everyone that came along, particularly those members of staff that managed the whole duration!
