The Member of Parliament for Guildford, the Right Honourable Angela Richardson visited Longacre today by invitation of Mr Bryan to hear about the school’s experience of providing help to pupils with identified extra needs. Mr Bryan gave Angela a tour of the school and our SEN learning facilities. Angela has been raising some issues on behalf of the school about how Special Education Needs (SENS) is funded in Surrey and is liaising with Surrey County Council. She also met with Lisa Edwards, our Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) at Longacre to discuss the responses received.
