Before Longacre
After a trip around the world with my sister in 2014, I realised I wanted to work with children and be outside. I began volunteering with the Surrey Wildlife Trust and fell in love with Forest School. I trained with the Trust to become a Forest School Leader and I have helped with Forest School sessions all over the county.
Role at the school
Having gained my teaching qualifications here at Longacre, I am a Form III Teacher and enjoy all aspects of working within this year group. I also teach Forest School across the school and love the opportunity it gives me to get outside, rain or shine. I am a member of our school’s Green Team too.
Away from the classroom
Away from the classroom I enjoy spending time with my family and playing lots of games; Articulate and Rummikub are particular favourites. I also love walking my dog and getting outside in my garden.
