Life before Longacre
I have been a Primary School teacher for all my working life, apart from a brief foray into retail management when I first left school and worked for the John Lewis Partnership. I have had experience across the whole primary range, in both the maintained and independent sector.
Roles at School
I came to Longacre in 2003 when I took up the post of head of Nursery, which kept me busy for seven years. From there I moved on to Form II and also took on the position of Head of Lower School. After teaching in Reception for four years, I have now returned to teaching Year 2.
Away from the Classroom
I enjoy walking in the beautiful Surrey Hills which I have known since childhood, or getting to grips with the maintenance of our garden and its produce. To keep mind and body fit I regularly attend local Zumba, Pilates and Body Conditioning classes.
