Early Years Practitioner (Part Time)

We are searching for dedicated, enthusiastic team members to join our new and flourishing year-round nursery.

About the role:

Salary: £24,000.00 – £30,000.00 pro rata (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

Hours: 8 – 20 per week

Annual Leave: 20 Days + Up to 12 days paid shutdown

We are looking for positive, reliable, responsible and experienced practitioners who thrive in a dynamic environment where working as a team ensures the very best provision for the children in our Nursery.

The key tasks of this role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Using your knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and child development to provide the highest level of childcare and early education experiences for all children in the nursery
  • Establishing strong professional relationships with the children, their parents, and colleagues
  • Celebrating children’s learning and development with them and their families

To be considered for the position you will need to:

Hold a relevant qualification such in Early Years Childcare

  • Level 3 (or equivalent) is desirable
  • Have at least 1 year of recent experience in a day care setting (desirable, but not essential)
  • Have a sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and, be able to contribute to planning, observations and reports
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
